Gatekeepers

The Gatekeepers are an old culture native to the Snipr river who make a living off of the salmon that swim up the river during the Spring Thaw to get to their mating grounds. The culture is old, the lower banks of the Snipr river are covered with many fisheries and many complicated puzzles and gates. As the fishing grows more scarce upriver (and territory is smaller), the simpler and older families fish the remnants of whatever fish remain. The harvest is always plentiful, however, and many fish make it to their mating grounds regardless of the Gatekeepers' efforts.

Navigating the Gatekeepers' domain is an integral part of the Story of Wethr. See Owen's Journal for more information on the history of the Gatekeepers.
